NDIS Assistance With Daily Living

Support with everyday activities and household tasks

It is inevitable to live your life without engaging in a daily task such as house cleaning or shopping. Our friendly and experienced staff could support you with your daily task to facilitate your independence at home. As an NDIS participant with an approval for the support category “Core Support”, you are eligible to access supports for everyday activities and household task using your NDIS plan.

Supports

Daily personal activities

We can support you to learn the skills needed for a range of daily activities in the comfort of your home. These supports could also be provided by BridgesCare to people with complex needs as long as you have been assessed and approved for such support. Personal activities can include:

• Bathing or Showering
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Personal hygiene
•  Toileting
• Getting in and out of bed
• Support with eating
• Walking around the house

Assistance with daily living tasks in a group home or shared living arrangement

If you live in a group home or our group home with other people, we can also support you with everyday tasks or support you to learn the needed skills to live as independently as possible.

Household tasks

To maintain good health and wellbeing, you need to live in a clean and well-organized house. We can support you with the household task if you are having challenges in keeping your home clean and well-maintained:

• Cleaning
• Laundry
• Shopping
• Dishwashing
• Spring cleaning
• House maintenance, such as window cleaning
• Preparing meals for you to cook

Accommodation / tenancy assistance

To help you transition to NDIS funding, we may be able to support you to pay your rent and utility accounts.

Support Categories

Each support classification contains various services that you can choose to help accomplish your objectives. You can utilize your financial plan for any of the services inside that support classification, however, you can’t utilize this financial plan for services inside another support classification. Now and again, you might be endorsed for one support instead of a support category. For this situation, you should utilize your financial plan for that  service as it were

Cost of Supports

The NDIA publishes a price list, which sets out the expense of each support. This is the price you will pay regardless of which provider you pick. At times, a cost for a support may not be fixed, and we can give you a quote that the NDIA will approve.

Availability

Our NDIS services are open to all NDIS participants with an approved plan. We have branches all over NSW for now with plans to expand to other states and territories in the future.
